The staff pages are getting pretty full so we're making a seperate staff page for Forum Moderators. While chat is in real time posts made only are visible for a few minutes in memory. The pace of course is fast and suicide prevention crisis's are handled in real time. The forum posts though can be written at ones own pace where one can gather their thoughts before writing. Each post can last years depending on hard disk space. Potentially one post can help thousands of people over it's lifespan. The forums are also searchable for the topic of your choice. Some people prefer one form of communication over another but a few like both chat and the forums. They are though though different worlds.

Forum Moderators approve posts and enforce the rules to keep the forums running smoothly. Many times in the background Forum moderators will reach out to other members through private messages to offer help to those who are in need. As there are many posts to approve the Chat moderators will often help out with post approval. Some forum moderators will also help out in chat and have taken the suicide prevention course required there.
